HAPPY YOUNG PERSON

Internships are great ways for young people to get on track, to learn from experienced staff, share their talents and develop professional skills. Believe and Achieve is a paid internship programme for young people who have multiple sclerosis.

EMSP teams up with corporate partners across Europe to provide a practical programme that highlights the potential of these young people while supporting the business in attendance management, Corporate Social Responsibility, well-being, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

THE JOY OF WORK

Work matters and it matters because contributing, socialising, interacting and using our unique gifts is life enhancing and powerful. There is nothing like it. However, some young people with MS are struggling to get over the barriers the condition can bring..

Through education systems, people are primed to go into the world of work; it influences our education choices, the place we live, people we meet, the money in our pockets and life we can afford and choose to live.

The financial security from work gives people options and allows people to plan. The Believe and Achieve paid internships open up opportunities, provides income, a sense of purpose, dignity and social connectivity.

Climbing to the top of Mount Everest isn’t everyone’s idea of work but for Lori Schneider, this is now part of the work she does. Who knows where your next adventure will bring you?
